Western-style pocketed CPO shirt, cut from a characterful 13.5oz dobby loom-woven cloth. Dobby weaving is a traditional technique dating back to the mid-1800s. By attaching a piece of equipment known as a “dobby” to the loom, the yarns can be manipulated during the weave to create a thicker, heavily textured fabric. This particular cloth is woven with 100% Mexican cotton — a first for Iron Heart. These long fibre yarns produce a thicker cotton, which in turn adds significant heft to the weave. So while this dobby cloth weighs in at 13.5oz, it could easily be mistaken for something much heavier!
