5oz Double Gauze Short Sleeved Work Shirt - Indigo

Classic work shirt made from 5oz Japanese double gauze fabric, one of the most intriguing fabrics in the Iron Heart Spring/ Summer collection. This unique fabric offers two different textures and is made by combining contrasting weaving styles on the same loom. On the front, a technique known in Japan as ‘Panama’ weaving is used to create a loose, airy fabric for hotter climates. This technique is interwoven with a tighter plain weave, resulting in an incredibly soft, smooth reverse side that offers maximum comfort against the skin. As the fabric is woven with indigo-dyed yarns, the appearance of this lightweight, highly breathable summer shirt will gradually fade and evolve, emphasising the characteristics of the exceptional fabric.
