FW26 - 10oz Back Sateen M-65 Field Jacket - Olive Drab Green

The M-65, part of the U.S. Army’s standard issue during the Vietnam War, is arguably the most famous military-inspired design. Its place in pop culture and civilian fashion was cemented by unforgettable appearances in films like Taxi Driver and The Terminator.
As a nod to its origins as a cold-weather field jacket, the Iron Heart M-65 retains signature features, including four large patch pockets and a lightweight hood that tucks into a zippered pocket in the stand-up collar. However, as with all of Iron Heart’s military-inspired styles, this is not a strict reproduction, but rather an evolution of the classic design. It includes additional side pockets and an oversized, two-way zipper. 


This FW26 edition is made from 10-ounce back-satin fabric, which is custom-dyed olive green to closely match the original 1965 versions. It is lined with Japanese Ventile to ensure additional water resistance. Additionally, the Velcro fasteners on the cuffs and the closures on the collar have been replaced with durable snap buttons. The result is a versatile, extremely durable, and functional version of the classic field jacket that makes no compromises on its iconic military style.
