Oiled Whipcord N1 Deck Jacket - Army Green

Oiled version of the popular N1 Deck Jacket, which gives the jacket improved water resistance. Due to the nature of whipcord and its low absorbency, the heavy oiling of the fabric increases the weight from the standard 12 ounce weight to approximately 14 ounces.
The classic N1 deck jacket was first produced for the US Navy in the early 1940s. Since then it has been copied many times and has become a true style icon. This Iron Heart version stays pretty true to the original jackets. The only major, but not visible, change that has been made is the addition of an extra inner lining to increase wind resistance. An incredibly warm and timeless winter jacket of the highest quality. 

• 12oz whipcord which becomes 14oz following oil application process
• Oiled with urethane/paraffin mix that results in a much softer hand feel to traditional waxed jackets
• Urethane/paraffin mix also reduced choke marks around elbow creases
• Can be ironed gently to renew waterproofing
