This traditional rider's jacket is handmade from 1.3 mm Japanese cowhide that has been heavily oiled to provide the wearer with improved waterproofing and long-term protection for the leather. Sourced from Himeji, the tanning capital of Japan, the chrome-tanned hide is more supple than the horsehide used for the IHJ-35 jacket. The oiling process further softens the leather, creating an incredibly smooth, buttery feel.

This single-breasted jacket has a water-resistant Japanese Ventile lining for comfort and features heavy-duty zippered gussets at the cuffs and hem, a high-quality two-way zipper, and a snap-fastening, Mandarin-style collar, which completes the café racer–inspired aesthetic.
