Work jacket in tightly woven 12oz Japanese Kersey. Inspired by the classic mechanic jackets of the 1950s and 60s, this vintage-inspired work jacket combines a retro aesthetic with a modern fitted silhouette. Stylish yet functional features include a 14 gauge corduroy collar and cuffs, a button placket with YKK zip closure and movement pleats at the shoulders for ease of movement. Kersey, named after the English village where it originated, is a durable fabric characterised by its heavily ribbed twill weave. The result is a warm, lightweight fabric that gradually fades and contrasts, emphasising the three-dimensional nature of the fabric.
