21/23oz Ultra Heavy Raw Selvedge Denim Slim Tapered Cut Jeans - Indigo

This modern slim cut has a greater taper from the knee to the hem than most of our jeans, allowing you to show off more of your footwear. It is constructed from 21/23 oz. UHR denim. UHR stands for "Ultra Heavy Raw." This unsanforized, loomstate fabric starts at 21 oz and shrinks to approximately 23 oz. UHR enjoys virtually legendary status among fans and aficionados of the brand due to its fading potential and the density of the weave.

The amount of shrinkage will depend on how hot and vigorously the jeans are washed. With a 40 degree C wash you can expect approximately 1" shrinkage in the waist, and up to 2" of shrinkage in the inseam. All other dimensions will shrink proportionately to the waist and inseam.  Those dimensions that are put under pressure during wear will have a tendency to stretch back out, and those that aren’t will not.
