Iron Hearts classic straight jean made from our 21/23oz UHR denim. UHR is an acronym for "Ultra Heavy Raw," an unsanforized and woven fabric, UHR denim starts at 21 ounces and becomes (approximately) 23 ounces after shrinking. The UHR enjoys almost legendary status among lovers and fans of the brand due to its fading potential and the density of the fabric.

• The amount of shrinkage will depend on how hot and vigorously the jeans are washed, on 40 degrees wash you can expect approximately 1 inch shrinkage on the waist, and up to 2 inch shrinkage on the inseam. All dimensions will shrink proportionately to the waist and inseam, those that are put under pressure will have a tendency to stretch back out, and those that aren’t will not.
