14oz Selvedge Denim "1955" Vintage Tapered Cut Jeans - Indigo

Based on the classic 1955 Levi’s 501, this cut has a similar fit to our relaxed tapered 888 style but with a more traditional silhouette. The 1955 cut features a slightly higher front rise, fuller knees, and less tapered hems to achieve this fit. Like the highly coveted vintage Levi’s, these jeans offer a relaxed yet flattering fit for most body types.

Made with a double-twisted weft yarn (the same as our signature 21 oz. weave), this crisp, midweight denim is exceptionally durable and comfortable straight off the rack, eliminating the lengthy break-in period commonly associated with heavier fabrics. Woven with rope-dyed indigo warp and white weft yarns, this fabric may not be our heaviest denim, but it fades with the best of them!
