Custom Boss Engineer Two-Tone Roughout - Natural

We collaborated with Wesco to make a new Custom "Boss" Engineer. A 10 inch height Engineer boot with a mix of Burlap Roughout leather and Roughout British Tan Domane leather combined with a Vibram Natural sole. A great boot of the highest quality - Handcrafted in Oregon, USA – Authentically American.

Roughout is full-grain leather which is flipped over to expose the textured side.  It's more durable than suede, where the texture is exposed by removing the grain (outer) layer.  An advantage of roughout is that it hides scuffs and scratches very well.

Domane is a tanning process used by the Seidel Tanning Corporation based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  The leather is saturated with oils to make the leather soft and hot-stuffed with waxes to protect the leather and enhance its texture.
