Since being introduced in 1983, PORTER's "TANKER" series has used an original fabric inspired by the US Air Force "MA-1" flight jacket. The three-layer fabric consists of a of nylon twill front, a polyester cotton intermediate layer, and a nylon taffeta back.  It is very light and has a soft feel.  The inside of the bag has an attractive safety-orange color.
